Claude Le Lay
Claude Le lay was born on 7th1946 in Le Lude ( France) . His father who was a wood sculptor instilled in him at an early age a passion for drawing and art in general.
After his schooling Claude Le Lay studied medicine, then soon became fascinated with anatomy and later on taught this subject at the faculty. He his Doctor in sport medicine and has a master in marketing.
His studies and professional career did not leave him much time for painting, but he kept close contacts with many artists and in 1989 his first lithography’s were published.
His abstract paintings are full of rhythm and colours and sometimes medical themes can be recognized.
In 1993 he received in Paris the silver medal of “Arts-Sciences et Lettres” as well as the gold plated silver cross of the “French merit and devotion”
In 1994 the medal of the city of Tarbes was given to him with some 20 other international artists.
In 1998 he was promoted to gold plated silver medal “Arts-Sciences et Lettres”
and member of the Taylor Foundation.
In 1999, he became member of the French Artist’s Society ( Société des artistes français).
Since 2000, he is also Associate of the “Accademia Internationale Grecimarino”;
and since 2001, he is “Chevalier académique” of the Ordine Accademico del Verbano ( Italy).
In 2003, he became “Noble académique” of the Accademia Internationale Gentilizia “Il Marzocco” of Florence
( the oldest Artist Academy of the world) .
In 2008, he was promoted Gold medal “Arts, Sciences, Lettres”.
Claude Le Lay
Claude Le Lay est né le 7 Juin 1946 à Le Lude ( France ) où son père était sculpteur sur bois. Très tôt son père lui inculqua la passion du dessin et des arts en général.
Après son baccalauréat, Claude Le Lay fait ses études de médecine et passionné d’anatomie, il deviendra moniteur d’anatomie à la faculté. Il est diplômé de médecine du sport et titulaire d’un DEA de marketing.
Les études supérieures et la vie professionnelle lui laissent peu de temps pour peindre, cependant il entretient des contacts très étroits avec de nombreux artistes et en 1989 ses premières lithographies sont éditées.
Ses toiles abstraites sont très fortes en rythme et en couleurs et l’on y retrouve parfois un thème médical.

Croix de Vermeil du « Mérite et dévouement français ».
1994: médaille de la ville de Tarbes au cours de l’exposition « Couleurs et mouvements »
1997: Sociétaire perpétuel de la fondation Taylor.
1998 : promotion à la médaille de Vermeil « Arts, Sciences, Lettres ».
1999 : Sociétaire de la Société des Artistes Français.
2000 : Académicien Associé de l’Accademia Internazionale « Greci-marino »
2001 : Chevalier Académique de « l’Ordine Accademico Del Verbano » ( Italie).
2003 : « Noble académique » de l’Accademia Internazionale Gentilizia « Il Marzoco » de Florence
( la plus ancienne académie artistique du monde).
2008 : médaille d’or « Arts, Sciences, Lettres »
Claude Le Lay wurde am 7. Juni 1946 in Le Lude ( Frankreich) geboren.
Sein Vater war dort Holzbildhauer und vermittelte ihm schon früh die Leidenschaft für die Zeichenkunst und die Kunst im allgemeinen.
Nach der Maturität studierte Claude Le Lay Medizin. Er begeistert sich für die Anatomie und wird Anatomieassistent an der Fakultät.
Er ist diplomierterSpezialarzt in Sportmedizin und hat einen Master in Marketing.
Sein Studium und das Berufsleben lassen ihm damals nur wenig Zeit für das Malen aber er pflegte sehr enge Kontakte mit zahlreichen Künstlern.
Im Jahre 1989 bringt Claude Le Lay die ersten Lithographien heraus.
Seine abstrakten Gemälde sind sehr rhythmisch und farbig und manchmal findet man darin ein medizinisches Thema.
1993 erhält Claude Le Lay in Paris die Silbermedaille“ Arts-Sciences et Lettres“ und das vergoldete Silberkreuz des „Mérite et Dévouement Français“.
1994 wird ihm die Medaille der Stadt Tarbes zuerkannt, während der Ausstellung« Couleurs et mouvements », an welcher er mit anderen internationalen Persönlichkeiten eingeladen ist.
1997 wird er Mitglied der Taylor Stiftung.
1998 Beförderung zur „médaille de Vermeil“ „Arts, Sciences, Lettres“.
1999 Mitglied der „Société des Artistes Français“.
2000 Akademikermitgliedschaft an der Accademia Internazionale“Greci-Marino“ und 2001 Chevalier Académique des „Ordine Accademico Del Verbano“ (Italien).
2003 wird er zum „Noble académique“ an der Accademia Internazionale Gentilizia „Il Marzocco“ von Florenz ( die älteste artistische Akademie der Welt) ernannt.
2008, Beförderung zur Goldmedaille „ Arts, Sciences, Lettres“.
